Counsellor Directory
This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description
Training in Gottman Method Relationship Therapy, Connected Parenting, ADHD, and currently training in EMDR trauma therapy. Optional faith-based counselling at client’s request.
My passion is supporting healthy families. Children thrive in homes where their primary caregivers are healthy, supported, and in a loving, connected relationship. One of the most important factors in a thriving home is the quality of the relationship between caregivers.
Research shows that our happiness, resilience, and even health are deeply connected to the quality of our relationships. As John Gottman says, “The quality of your relationships determines the quality of your life.” In counselling, I help individuals and couples strengthen these connections because thriving relationships create thriving lives.
My practice is grounded in a holistic, integrative approach that honours the whole person, emotionally, mentally, physically, and relationally, while considering past experiences and future goals. I take a directive approach, offering tangible tools and practical skills. Lasting change happens when we look at the full picture, not just one part.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including Humanistic & Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Brief Psychodynamic Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and trauma & EMDR-informed strategies to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and lasting change.
Every client is unique, and therapy is tailored to meet you where you are, integrating modalities to create a personalized and effective experience.
The goal is simple: to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and practical support, helping you strengthen relationships, build resilience, and create a life that feels more connected, meaningful, and fulfilling.
